Mackenzie currently serves as a Trending News Reporter at Barron’s, covering breaking financial news and market trends.

She formerly worked as the U.S.-based Science and Technology Reporter for The Sun, covering developments in space travel, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

Before taking the leap into journalism, Mackenzie attained a degree in English and Biopsychology from Tufts University.

She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, becoming a member of the most prestigious academic honor society in the United States.

Mackenzie subsequently attended Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism on a merit scholarship. Medill regularly ranks at the top journalism program in the United States.

Mackenzie’s work has appeared in Scientific American, DailyMail.com, The Chicago Reader, The Chicago Reporter, Westchester Magazine, and more.

Mackenzie’s work in podcasting began at Paradiso Media, a multinational studio based in France.

She was a member of the Development team and helped the studio expand its programming in the United States.

Mackenzie went on to work as associate producer at the Lost Women of Science Initiative in collaboration with Scientific American.

In addition to hosting her own episodes, she oversaw the Lost Women of the Manhattan Project series until her departure from the organization.

Mackenzie is currently working on an independently produced audio series that will be released later this year.

The podcast is based on her graduate thesis, for which she was named a Fulbright semifinalist.
